creative flair
For the Year 2008 Awards, briefs
are provided for all categories. The judges will be
looking for creative, innovative, well-balanced and
functional designs that show clearly that entrants have
followed the design process, by having analysed and
fulfilled the design brief and met the end user's requirements.
The judges hope to be stimulated by exciting and original ideas. While it is important to follow closely the design process (described in this booklet) for all submissions the judges do not wish your imagination to be shackled - explore your concepts and ideas and let your imagination and creativity soar.
"Design excellence challenges,
creating an environment that makes the world a better
place to relax, work, live, think and play in".
The use of computer techniques is encouraged, but
students will not be penalised if they are not used.
Students, you must comply with all the
conditions of entry, presentation and category criteria.
