GENERAL INFORMATION
For the Year 2004 Awards, briefs are
provided for all categories. The judges will be looking
for creative, innovative, well-balanced and functional designs
that show clearly that entrants have followed the design
process, by having analysed and fulfilled the design brief
and met the end user’s requirements.
The judges hope to be stimulated by
exciting and original ideas. While it is important to follow
closely the design process (described in this booklet) for
all submissions the judges do not wish your imagination
to be shackled - explore your concepts and ideas and let
your imagination and creativity soar.
‘Never ask a designer how to build
a bridge, but how to cross the river’
